Celebration Little League's Challenger Division began as a dream in 2005 by a newly formed Little League Board of Directors who brought baseball to the town of Celebration. Once the regular league took off, the CLL Board refocused their energy on bringing a new division of baseball to not just Celebration but Osceola and Orange Counties. In February of 2007 more than 40 athletes with differing abilities came together to learn how to play baseball. The program continues to grow each season as more and more children learn about us. Together with a dedicated, core group of coaches and a huge Buddy Brigade our athletes enjoy socializing with each other while learning all about America's favorite pastime.
The Little League Challenger Division® was founded in 1989 and is Little League’s adaptive baseball program for individuals with physical and intellectual challenges. The Little League Challenger Division accommodates players ages 4 and above.
We play two seasons per year - Fall which begins in mid-September and Spring which begins in mid-February. There are no practices during the week, we simply play our games on Saturday mornings at 9:15. Games typically last about an hour and a half.
